CenterBall Biathlon Rules
Number of players:
open
Objective:
Complete the course in the shortest possible time.
Start of the game:
The game starts for each player at the start/finish line. One player per team begins by running half a lap along the yellow marker cones to the first target at the football goal, where they take 3 shots from the 5-meter line at target 2. Then they run another half lap to the next target and take 3 shots at target 3. This is followed by a run to target 5. Then another half lap to target 4. Finally, one full lap is run to the Center target. The last run is a half lap directly to the finish line. Each of the 5 targets must be shot at 3 times.
Penalty lap:
For every missed shot, a short penalty lap must be run immediately after the 3 shots.
This is marked with yellow cones from the penalty area line to the halfway line.
Timekeeping / hit tracking:
When a player starts, a player from the opposing team records the time and tracks hits/misses. Only hits or misses count – the exact point score is irrelevant. The time stops when the player crosses the finish line. Only when both simultaneously started players have finished their rounds, the second relay round begins with the other two players. The times of both players of a team are added. In the event of an exact tie, the team with more hits wins.
The rules were created and developed by Uwe Schneider, the inventor of the game, in 2018.
