Centerball-Zero Rules
Number of players: 1 - 6 players
Goal:
Scoring 36 points to 0 points
The winner is the first person to score to 0 points.
Game start:
Before the game begins, the number of sets to be played should be agreed upon. A set is a game to be played from 36 points to 0 points.
The first player takes 3 shots at any chosen targets on the centerball target wall, followed by the next player with 3 shots at the targets on the centerball target wall.
Each target must be hit at least once, otherwise the game cannot end. The center doubles the score of the immediately preceding hit by a player.
Check out:
It must always end with a double out. For example, with a remaining score of 4, the 2 must be hit first, followed immediately by the center. A remaining score of 1 cannot be checked out; the score reverts to the last score. If the shot is overscored, the score also reverts to the last score.
Remaining scores of 2 and 3 can only be checked out into the center with 2 and 3 hits respectively.
The rules for Centerball Zero were invented by the game's creator, Uwe Schneider, in June 2004.
