The Centerball Story

After more than 20 years, the idea became reality! Uwe Schneider pursued the vision of creating a new football sport from the traditional target shooting game even during his active football career in the third and fourth divisions. For many years, he traveled from one local festival to another, regularly winning prizes. He achieved the feat of 6 shots / 6 hits countless times. From football trips to the 1998 World Cup in France, to cash prizes and several trophies, he won the grand prize at the 2006 World Cup with 6 hits: a brand-new car worth €15,000. He had long since conceived the rules of the game and the target wall with five holes, each with different point values. The prototype was then built in 2015 in the attic of a furniture store in Regensburg, together with Christoph Binninger, Markus Kaniber, and Ian Staples.
