Rules Centerball High-Score
Number of players: 1 - 6 players.
Goal:
To achieve a high score of 336 points with 15 shots at 5 targets.
Before the game, the number of sets to be played should be agreed upon. One set consists of 15 shots at 5 different targets (holes on the goal wall).
The winner of the game is the player with the highest score after 15 shots.
Each player has 15 shots at the centerball target wall in a predetermined order. Each player takes three shots in succession at the same designated target. The round ends only when every player has taken their three shots at the designated target. Then the next rounds follow, focusing on the other targets.
Please note:
The shooting order must always be followed. If a player hits the wrong target, that shot is considered a miss and scores 0 points. Shooting order: The first three shots are taken starting in the bottom right corner. Each hit is worth 2 points.
Possible total score: 6 points. The next 3 shots will be in the top left corner. Each hit counts as 4 points.
Possible total score: 12 points. The next 3 shots will be in the bottom left corner. Each hit counts as 3 points.
Possible total score: 9 points. The next 3 shots will be in the upper right corner. Each hit counts as 5 points.
Possible total score: 15 points. The last 3 shots are fired at the center. Each successful shot doubles the score so far. A player's maximum possible total score is 336 points.
The rules for Centerball High-Score were invented by the game's creator, Uwe Schneider, in June 2004.
